Supply Chain Executive (Engineering Distribution)
Norwich
Up to £35,000 Annual Salary Dependant On Experience + Annual Bonus + Contributory Pension + Benefits
Supply Chain Executive sought for an engineering distribution business looking to expand its team in all areas due to continued success across the business.
The role will be open to experienced supply chain professionals from any engineering, manufacturing or industrial background with both transactional and strategic procurement negotiation and planning experience.
The role will support Regional Sales Managers on identifying suppliers and ensuring the effective management of suppliers in order to comply with their deliverables to the business. You will maintain strong relationships with suppliers which may include a small degree of international supplier visits as required and you will ensure that the most competitive pricing is achieved across the board. You will also assist in ensuring running stock levels are maintained in line with sales activity.

The Role in brief:
* Work with Regional Sales Managers to identify suppliers.
* Management of suppliers towards agreed timescales to comply with their requirements.
* Maintain and develop good relationships with Suppliers which may include visits to their premises within UK and Europe.
* Sourcing product /Pricing on behalf of Sales Team.
* Manage stock quantities and maintain stock levels to ensure availability of runners and repeaters in line with sales activity
* Production of Point of Sale (POS) for Suppliers as required by them.
* Management, understanding and communication of Product Change Notes (PCNs) and End of Life (EOL) notices so that Account Managers and RSMs are fully informed.
The Person Required:
* Experienced in a Supply Chain function within both transactional and strategic activity
* Able to travel internationally on small amounts of occasions as required
* Willing to be office based within the Norwich location daily
