Due to continued growth our client is looking to expand their Logistics/Supply Chain team within their Corporate Retail Head office.

They are seeking candidates with a wealth of experience ideally within the Logistics and Supply Chain industry who can monitoring the end to end process and have experience with internal and external stakeholder management.

Our Client offers car parking, excellent training, great development opportunities, competitive salary and working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

As the Logistics Project Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking responsibility for the successful delivery of various plans, to tight deadlines
  • Analysing operations to attempt to simplify plans
  • Investigating any issues that may arise and offering solutions
  • Processing and tracking action points and milestones of various tasks
  • Managing the flow of correspondence with external and internal parties
  • Responsible for the processing and tracking of quotes and invoices
  • Develop and control logistics service provider’s performance and KPI’s

As the Supply Chain Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Management and control of multiple supply chain projects and tasks, working with Buying, RDC's and suppliers to deliver to agreed timeframes.
  • Management and control of supply chain planning processes, KPI's, development and continual improvements, to maximise availability of product into the RDC's from suppliers, and DCs to stores.
  • Management and control of logistics service provider performances
  • Continuous improvement within role to maximise efficiencies
  • Responsible for the processing invoices and other duties as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience ideally within the Freight / Logistics / Supply Chain industry
  • Confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.

In return the Assistants will receive a basic salary starting on £31,040 rising to £35,250 after 2 years’ service.
