The Role
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team within our warehouse.
  • Demonstrate good organisation skills and the desire to create an efficient working environment.
  • Responsible for the day to day management and on-going development of the department.
  • Proactive in seeking improvements in process/methods of working and the introduction of best practice within the department.
  • Accountable for Health & Safety within the department.
  • Checking of all incoming goods for quality and quantity.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and returned to the relevant department.
  • Ensuring that goods are labelled and packed correctly.
  • Responsible for the safe and tidy storage of goods.
  • Efficient booking of goods in and out of stock control system.
  • Preparation, picking and packing of orders for delivery in UK and global export
  • Correctly packaging and labelling goods prior to despatch.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure that targets are met.
  • Assist with stock takes and maintaining accurate records
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised warehouse.
  • Accountable for Health & Safety within the department.
The Person
  • Experienced background in a similar role.
  • A desire to work in focused environment towards deadlines.
  • Flexibility; the ability to adapt to varied tasks.
  • Conscientious attitude to work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Manual handling of goods will be required.
  • Forklift license required.
Benefits to you
  • Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (7.5 hour day with 1 hour lunchbreak)
  • 28 paid holiday/year (includes Public Holidays)
