Castle Business Support division in York are looking for a Contract Manager to join a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier based in Pocklington to cover maternity leave.

Some of the duties which this Contract Manager position may consist of are;

  • Liaise with buyers and contract managers
  • Brief customers on deliveries and lead times on a daily basis
  • Maintain and build relationships with clients, being the main contact for all contracts
  • Assist the company's Senior Managers in delivering the production schedule
  • Work with the company's production manager and designer to bring new products to customers
  • Have a good knowledge of the current market bringing the company any leads for new products available
  • Assist the Managing Director with the preparation of tenders in an accurate and timely fashion

The successful Contract Manager will have the following skills and experience;

  • Have a great eye for attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills, being an effective communicator to people of all levels
  • Be a very organised individual
  • Have your own transport due to the location

This is a long-term temporary contract to cover maternity leave, working full time Monday to Friday. This will be earning a salary of £20,000-£24,000 per annum depending on experience.
