Responsibilities:
• Manage all inbound and outbound supplier fulfilments from our warehouse
• Manage the scheduling, booking-in and undertaking of all W&H customer fulfilments (deliveries, collections, exchanges, disposals, repairs etc) in line with customer service and cost targets
• Manage all picking activities for supplier and customer fulfilments
• Manage the W&H Warehouse & Distribution Team from recruitment through to exit in line with our performance management framework including the completion of time sheets and tachographs and the handling of any necessary resulting actions
• Manage the W&H Warehouse & Distribution Team to ensure all staff are trained to complete the duties expected of them
• Manage our warehouse/ fulfilment centre in line with commercial leases, to ensure health and safety requirements are met and to take responsibility for stock and building security including being a key holder
• Ensure all stock is effectively stored and graded and oversee the accurate accounting, rotation of and quality of stock received, stored and delivered
• Manage all W&H rented or owned vans in line with commercial leases and to ensure they are correctly maintained including the scheduling of equipment and vehicle maintenance and cleanliness within the requirements of current legislation
• Manage all fulfilment related data to ensure 100% accuracy across relevant platforms at all times
• Formulate, document, manage and constantly review all processes, policies and systems required for the W&H Warehouse & Distribution Team suggesting and implementing improvements
Skills & Experience:
• Experience using logistics planning and warehouse/ stock management systems
• Good analytical skills and highly proficient in Excel
• Budget control experience
• Experience of leading a team, performance coaching and employee engagement
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
• A proven track record of process improvement and change
• A "can-do" and proactive, problem solving attitude
• Thrive in fast-paced environments with a meticulous eye for detail
• High performance under pressure and a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Experience of working cross-functionally in a very collaborative environment
