Warehouse Manager

My client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join a Logistics company which cover both global and local expertise. This candidate will be managing the day to day functions for a smooth operation covering multiple customers.

Location:Hemel Hempstead

Salary: Up to £45,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days) however during peak seasons possibly 6 days will be expected

Key duties:

• Ensure there is a safe working environment for employees across the site
• Achieving and exceeding Customer Targets
• Managing and Co-ordinate with the operational team to drive enhanced performance
• Developing team leaders to manage individual areas
• Ensuring all work is captured and invoiced including creating, managing, reviewing site documentation
• Managing staff to ensure sufficient cover and arranging shifts
• Maintaining warehouse staff results by recruiting, coaching, mentoring and disciplining
• Servicing all site equipment, site permits and contractor packs
• Preparing plans for operational peaks and projects

• Knowledge with Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience in people management
• Knowledge of dispatch on multiple omni-channels
• Microsoft skills
• IOSH qualified
