Purchasing Coordinator - Burton on Trent - £20,000 - £22,000

Chase and Holland are happy to be working with a business in Burton on Trent who are looking to add to their team with the addition of a Purchasing Coordinator. Working as part of a small team you will support in a number of duties.

Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist in placing orders onto the system
  • Liaising with suppliers and helping to review their performance
  • Help to negotiate cost reductions
  • Chase up orders
  • Provide a range of administrative support

Key Requirements and Preferences:

  • Experience of working in a Purchasing environment
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to confidently talk to customers and suppliers on the phone
