Regional Supply Chain Manager - UK & Ireland - Chemicals
North West - Wilmslow, Widnes or Irlam Based
Up to £70,000 + Benefits + Car

An exciting opportunity has come available for a Regional Supply Chain Manager UKI to join this world leading global chemical distribution business.


Working 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday this role will be based in the North West either at our offices near Wilmslow, Widnes or Irlam. You will manage Supply Chain teams that focus on inventory management, demand planning and network optimisation. Our operations team manage, warehouse activity and transport planning however it’s critical that all teams work as one to deliver world class customer service. The Supply Chain teams are located in different offices in the UK and Ireland and having a proven track record of managing remote teams is a distinct advantage and being willing to travel is crucial to the success of any candidate. 

You will be required to train, develop and motivate direct and indirect reports to fully realise their potential whilst maintaining all Company procedures and legislative requirements, and aiming to achieve zero accidents associated with Health and Safety.

The key tasks of the Regional Supply Chain Manager role include:

+ Strong prioritisation skills, knowing where to spend your valuable time is essential.
+ Responsible for planning demand across the UKI business. 
+ Optimising inventory using best practice techniques. 
+ Minimise inventory obsolesence by taking action with Sales and Product management.
+ Optimising logistics/inventory flow between internal warehouses.
+ Working as part of a cross functional team to deliver world class customer service on time and in full.
+ Ensuring compliance for all recruitment, performance reviews and day to day activities.
+ Continue with the deployment of our Supply Chain Minimum Standards.
+ The ability to build relationships both internally and externally quickly and work cross functionally.
