Purchasing Coordinator/Buyer

£21,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

The role will include:

- reporting daily on stock levels

- liaising with the sales and customer service teams to ensure goods are ordered in a timely manner to ensure orders will be met

- liaising with suppliers to place orders through understanding forecasting figures

- following up on orders to ensure timely delivery

- ensuring orders are placed accurately and all PO numbers are provided

- follow processes and look for areas where improvements can be made when ordering stock to meet requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- excellent attention to detail

- proven experience using Excel to report

- have the ability to work to tight deadlines and chase suppliers where required

- be experienced in purchasing and buying for a business
