Procurement Assistant Rotherham Up to £23,000

You will be working for a globally recognised manufacturer, based in Rotherham with fantastic travel links from the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire.

Your new role

Within your role as Procurement Assistant, you will be working closely with all internal stakeholders to define the scope of work for externally sourced goods and services whilst preparing, issuing and maintaining all purchase orders. You will support the Procurement team in undertaking due diligence of suppliers, ensuring the development and evolution of the database to ensure the best outcomes for the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

You will hold previous experience within an Industrial, Engineering or Manufacturing background and be confident in using ERP systems, such as SAP. Strong communication skills are essential to the role in order to build and maintain effective working relationships. You will be analytical thinker and be familiar with all Microsoft packages.
