Procurement Category Manager - Internationally-Renowned FMCG - Central London - £50k-55k + excellent package

Following a period of aggressive expansion, this internationally-renowned FMCG seeks an extremely ambitious and driven category manager to join their award-winning procurement function.

Working out of their global HQ in central London, the ambitious category manager will work across a variety of procurement categories, catering for CAPEX and MRO. The ambitious category manager will join a forward-thinking culture, playing an integral role within a hugely expanding team of procurement specialists throughout the global enterprise. In addition to having full autonomy of an annual spend in excess of £30 mill., the successful category manager will be exposed to accelerated career progression annually and have access to a fantastic benefits package.

Procurement Category Manager Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the management and execution of strategic sourcing as well as the global end-to-end procurement lifecycle, catering for CAPEX and MRO across the FMCG
• Assist in enhancing an award-winning procurement function and developing a large team of procurement specialists
• Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of reputable senior global stakeholders throughout the FMCG
  

Procurement Category Manager Requirements:

• Proven track record as a senior buyer and/or category manager across a variety of procurement categories, such as: FM, Capex, MRO - previous experience within a FMCG desired but not essential
• Excellent inter-personal, communication and negotiation skills
• MCIPs and degree preferred but not essential
