Supply Chain Data Analyst role with a leading UK retailer based in London.

The role

I am currently working with a world renowned retail business who are looking for a Reporting savvy Data Analyst to work within their Central Supply Chain team.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for Data Analysis, building and maintaining reports and identifying process improvement areas for the business.

Working cross functionally with Supply Chain, Sales and Finance, you will be supporting the business around their strategy, processes and data management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create both weekly and monthly reports on the businesses KPI's and making suggestions based on results
  • Help the business reduce their stock holding and wastage by monitoring obsolete and reduced stock as well as identifying slow/non performing products
  • Work alongside key business stakeholders to identify process improvements, data gathering, building dashboards, creating ad-hoc reports using Excel and Power BI and then presenting findings and making recommendations.
  • Provide analysis on sales, pricing, promotions and customer buying patterns
  • Providing cover for absent team members helping to support with their roles where necessary
  • Support Operations with the implementation of new products

The successful candidate will:

  • Have advanced Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Access and Power BI as well as extensive knowledge of VBA, Python and SQL
  • Be experienced and confident analysing/interpreting complex data from a variety of sources
  • Have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels
  • Ideally have experience using Spotfire and SAP
  • Have strong commercial awareness
  • Be an effective communicator and have excellent presentation skills
