The Role:
Working for a national cabin and modular building supplier, we are looking for a cabin logistics coordinator, to manage the process of installing site accommodation on various projects / building sites, and uplifting these at the end of the project. You will provide technical advice to our clients, providing a vital link between them and the supplier, to ensure site installations run smoothly.
You will also need to have craneage experience and be an appointed person.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Logistics Coordinator, your job role will include:
- Providing technical advice to customers
- Carry out site specific surveys with clients
- Preparation of all necessary documentation, including RAMS and Lifting plans
- Produce risk assessments and method statements for each site
- Prepare the running order and programme of works for transport, support services and installation teams
- Track production of cabins to ensure all customer requirements are identified, and to avoid installation issues
- Identify snags and work with the support services team to correct before the buildings handover
Skills & Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the Cabin Logistics Coordinator position will have:
- Appointed person qualification
- Experience with Hiab Vehicles / Mobile Cranes
- First hand knowledge of lorry loaders
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident using IT software
- Strong team player
- Full UK drivers licence
