Role: Contracts Manager
Location: London
Salary: £55k - £65k plus 8% bonus and great package

The Opportunity
If you're a construction Contracts Manager or Quantity Surveyor looking to use your skills in a different way this is the job for you.

We're one of the world's largest energy management companies with a great reputation for developing our staff. Our commercial team develops great relationships with our customers and this Contracts Manager opportunity will ensure that continues across London encompassing some of the UK's most technologically-advanced and sustainable buildings.

In your new Contracts Manager role you'll work closely with our customer pre- and post-contract to maximise their satisfaction with our building management, automation and power generation solutions, alongside our delivery.
Don't worry if you're currently not a BMS expert - we are - so will be able to train you on that. We're just looking for something who wants to develop their knowledge, including gaining more professional qualifications like RICS or IACCM, and are then happy to pass that on when mentoring other members of the team.

All our contracts run along JCT or NEC standards so you'll need to know your way around these to be able to hit the ground running.
Alongside wowing our end users you'll also be looking after our commercial interests by improving or revenue and minimising risk during the contract.

Our regional team is 7 strong at present. This role is going to sit under the Divisional Manager whilst offering coaching to some of the less experienced Contracts Managers and Administrators. All About You
If you're a construction Contracts Manager with JCT or NEC contract experience we'd love to hear from you!

As we're so heavily immersed in building controls, BMS and power solutions that construction background is going to be key. If you're coming from a quantity surveying background that would be ideal as you're going to need to know you're way around commercial procedures and standard contract conditions.
If you have your RICS or IACCM already that's great but, if not, we're happy to support you to gain those accreditations.

Whilst this role won't have any people management responsibilities you will get the opportunity to mentor members of the team and we always support our staff in developing their technical skill set so to get the most out of this Contracts Manager role you'll be the kind of person who enjoys coaching and learning.
