About our client

Our Client is a UK leading manufacturer within the materials industry. As part of a leading supplier and manufacturing group for their sector they are an established company providing materials to some of the largest retailers in the UK. They are looking for a hungry candidate with drive to succeed and grow within the business and become an asset to their close-knit team.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collating historical data and maintaining weekly reports on material requirements
  • Identifying purchasing requirements from material reports
  • Liaising with suppliers on material availabilities and supply lead times
  • Raising Purchase orders
  • Maintaining supplier price files and stock reports
  • Liaising with suppliers and covering supply chain responsibilities as and when
  • Maintain records, running audits and key contacts to ensure compliance to industry standards
  • Stock adjustments and price corrections
  • Resolving invoice queries from Head Office
  • Maintaining production works orders
  • Maintaining works orders for site W.I.P. (work in progress) materials

The successful applicant

  • Will be a confident and strong team player
  • Strong Microsoft and IT skills including Excel
  • Knowledge of Sage or a system would be advantageous
