As a Purchasing Assistant you will be working closely with all area's of our multi-site distribution and installation business. You will take responsibility for managing individual product groups and building direct relationships with our suppliers.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the company's stock levels, forecasting, placing and expediting purchase orders. Your work will help us to ensure that we can meet the demands of our fast growing and highly service orientated business.

For this role it is important that you possess strong purchasing skills as well as the following:

  • Previous experience in a procurement environment and a strong knowledge of purchasing database management
  • A strong ability to build relationships
  • An ability to undertake comprehensive research to ensure that we are working with the most suitable suppliers and products
  • Excellent computer and administration skills with an exceptional attention to detail

In this role you will be working with a current team of 3 so will need to ensure that you can work as part of a group and also on your own.
