Chase and Holland have a great opportunity for a Logistics Manager who has strong managerial experience within the distribution industry. This particular Logistics Manager role will be suited to an organised and methodical individual who can oversee the overall logistics function of an international company.  

Key responsibilities of the Logistics Manager will include:

  • Obtaining quotes and negotiating for transportation, storage, packing and handling services
  • Inventory management - list updates, damages, losses
  • Monitoring stock movement (UK, Dubai, NL)
  • Managing the order process with supplier, obtaining payment, solving issues
  • Problem solving in regard to price, cost and quantity
  • Liaising with the sales team, suppliers and customers
  • Review order scheduling on daily basis
  • Navigating sage to track orders
  • Supervising the overall order process
  • Handling and solving customer and supplier complaints

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage the logistics team and ensure that performance management reviews are carried out. You will be expected to develop staff with new training methods and assist with the recruitment process. There is an expectation to work closely with the finance department on customs, insurance and duty claims.

This position has a strong 360 aspect which requires a strategic approach in research, cost saving and business development. The role will allow personal progression with enrolment on relevant training courses and qualification studies.
