Asa procurement partner we havea dedicated team of buyers and analysts solely focussed on delivering savings for our clients. PSL negotiates pricing on a schedule relevant to each commodity, ensuring price stability whilst also anticipating future market conditions; providing a tailored solution.

We are now seeking to appoint an experienced Food Buyer to expand our team.

The successful candidate must live within 2.5 hours radius of Leamington Spa and be prepared to travel as required as this is a national role. A full clean driving license is therefore essential.

Reporting to the Head of Purchasing to achieve functional objectives and contribute to continuous improvement. The role requires development of sourcing strategy and management of purchasing activity for assigned categories. Effective benchmarking and negotiation skills are required to deliver best in class pricing for PSL. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively interfacing with suppliers and relevant colleagues (e.g. Operations, Sales and Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance) to ensure that client needs are met and business targets are achieved as a minimum).
