Howarth Morris are exclusively recruiting for a global well known organisation based near Runcorn. Due to a number of recent promotions this Global organisation is looking to add an experienced Purchasing Officer to a fast paced and dynamic Procurement team. The successful Purchasing Officer will be an enthusiastic indvidual who will contribute to the on going implementation and management of a Procure to Pay (P2P) system. Addition supporting the P2P end users with their supplier, sourcing& system queries.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in an P2P, Procurement or Accounts Payable environment and possessing MCIPS or studying towards is of a particular advantage.

Responsibilties Include:-

- Maintenance of the P2P system and particularly the supplier related data.
- Assisting withTendering activities
- Very that all requisitions are complete and accurate
- Perform spend analysis & reporting
- Raising and approving PO's
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as required by Procurment Manager

The successful candidate will receive:-

Salary up to 25K (dependant on experience)
23 days holiday (Plus 8 Bank Holiday's)
Hours 9am-5pm (Mon- Fri)
