Assistant Demand Planner, Leeds - Leeds, £20,000 - £23,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits!

My client, based in Armley seek an addition to their supply team to facilitate the placement of orders and forecast of finished goods to meet demand. This is a role to support the demand planners within the division with support offered to the successful candidate account managing key clients. Duties of the assistant demand planner: -

Duties: -

Liaising with the account contacts and processing orders in line with customer requirement
Continually review customer demand against incoming stocks and buying plans
Manage lead times with suppliers to ensure timely import of stock
Liaising with key account contacts regarding their orders and ensuring an excellent business relationship
Checking pricing
Liaise with over-seas suppliers regarding the import of the goods
Support the team with additional related tasks where required

Skills & Experience Required for the Assistant Demand Planning role: -

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience working within a demand planning, purchasing, buying or shipping role with the knowledge of supply chain and basic understanding of import & export would be advantageous. Excellent communication and administration skills are essential due to need for communication with overseas suppliers.
