The role:
- Managing relationships with existing suppliers
- Working closely with the quality management team to ensure a high quality product is produced
- Looking at ways to get better value from suppliers with out effecting quality
- Building an international supply chain
- Inventory management
- Prioritising product lines
- Managing the buying team
You must have:
- Worked for a manufacturer or experienced in sourcing high specification customised engineering goods (not off the shelf)
- Used ERP systems
- Negotiated with international suppliers
- Worked on procurement strategy
