Finance and Operations Manager - Technology - Central London

Our Client is a rapidly growing is a global tech company based in Central London. They are now seeking to recruit a Finance & Operations Manager who will report to the MD and Group CFO.

The key part of the role is looking after the Finances and Office Operations. There is lots of scope to grow and develop as the companies grow. The company is very people focused and looks after their staff well.

They are looking for a personable, hard-working, articulate qualified accountant, used to working in a people business, managing large projects.

Key responsibilities as Finance & Operations Manager will include:

  • Cash management
  • Project controlling ( WIP)
  • Credit control
  • Cost control
  • Expenses
  • Month end reporting
  • Production of Management Accounts
  • Month cash and cost reforecasting
  • Monthly KPI reporting to Group
  • Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • Payroll monthly and annual statutory reporting
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • EC Sales list (monthly)
  • Annual preparation of statutory accounts
  • UK Audit
  • Payroll/pension management
  • Annual budgeting
  • Cost rationalisation
  • Business process
  • Business compliance for employment and health and safety regulations
  • Managing relationship with Bank/ insurance / Landlord
  • HR co-ordination

Key Attributes required as Finance & Operations Manager:

  • Self-motivated with diligent and detailed approach to completing tasks
  • Good analytical skills, able to understand, question and challenge a range of financial data
  • Confidence to communicate effectively with a range of external and internal parties
  • Flexible, adaptable and proactive approach
  • Ideally qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Ideally will have worked in a smaller business with WIP & Subscription fees
