Infrastructure Operations Manager - Leading Technology Outsource Partner

Due to investment and organisational change this new position of Infrastructure Operations Manager has been created to have overall responsibility for the 3 infrastructure operational teams: Data centre, Networks and Desktop/Field Engineering.
What will you be doing?
- To organise, co-ordinate and lead the activities of a group of staff engaged in the provision of an infrastructure service function to customers, and be responsible for delivery of all operational aspects of the service
- The design and implementation of all infrastructure services e.g. servers, communications and security. Ensuring the team deploy current and innovative technologies
-Responsible for improvement to the service delivered is achieved through proactive monitoring and a continuous service improvement programme.
-Delivery of infrastructure upgrades in support of the annual infrastructure upgrade budget.
-To work in cooperation with the project team in support of new solutions and enhancements to systems and infrastructure.
What Experience will you have?
-A broad understanding of IT infrastructure that includes desktop, server and network technology - with a specialism in on of those 3.
-Experience with ITIL (certified)
-Expert 3rd party management experience
-Very strong people / team management
-A history of improving IT services through upgrade, updates, etc
-A good knowledge of cloud services and technology
