Our client is a leading global distributor with innovative products and services. They currently service over 80,000 customers across 100 countries.They are now looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to be based at the European HQ, Chertsey. Reporting into the Credit Manager, the role is varied covering cash collections for UK and Nordic ledgers

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with multiple currency ledgers in GBP, EUR and Nordic currencies
  • Keep accurate records for each contact with customers
  • Credit checking new customers using Creditsafe & Coface
  • Ensure adequate insurance cover is in place for export customers
  • Constantly monitor the status of overdue debtors and advise finance team of any bad debts
  • Attend monthly meeting to review ledgers with credit control team and Finance Director
  • Process mid and month end direct debit collections
  • Ensuring all month end deadlines are met
  • Process daily invoice runs
  • Process credit card payments online
  • Keep Creditsafe ledger up to date with required information
  • Review credit limit report ensuring all amendments to credit limits have been authorized appropriately in line with company policy
  • Comply with the EMEA Credit Policy
