Electrical Contracts Manager / Project Manager

Electrical Project Manager / Contracts Manager required for our client who are a well-established Electrical Contractor based near Hemel Hempstead who specialise in complete electrical and fire services for the domestic, commercial, and industrial markets. They are currently looking to recruit for a Projects / Contracts Manager to oversee and manage a range of domestic, commercial and industrial projects/contracts throughout the London and the Home Counties. This role will be predominately office based, meaning that the ideal candidate will be based locally to Hemel Hempstead.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful contracts manager will be required to attend site visits to survey and price work, upselling where necessary, issuing quotations and tenders to clients, and managing the contract / project once secured, ensuring the installation, service and maintenance works are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager will be responsible for liaising the company's engineers and sub-contractors during the projects, and projects range in value from £3k - £50k+ projects.

The ideal candidate should hold a minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position and be well versed in running/managing electrical contracts and projects within the HVAC, Facilities Management, or Construction sector. An electrical background i.e. electrician or electrical engineer required, and NICEIC qualified would be extremely advantageous.

Electrical Contracts Manager Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' previous experience within Project Management or Contracts Management position
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Facilities Management, or Construction sectors
• Electrician/Electrical Engineer background with sound technical knowledge of electrical contractor services
• NICEIC qualified desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Based within commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead
