Breezemount now have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to be based at our location in Gateshead.  The position reports into the General Manager of the site and the main purpose is to support the General Manager in all aspects of the operations.

The Operations Manager Role:

The Operations Manager has accountability for the site’s performance over a 7-day a week operation.  This includes all aspects of transport and warehousing, to ensure that customer service levels are met or exceeded. You will manage costs to maximise profitability and manage resources and people effectively.  The Operations Manager is consistently analysing current processes and procedures and pushing for continuous improvements.

We are looking for a leader with experience in a similar position ideally with the following experience:

  • Within the home delivery sector or similar industry.
  • Fleet / Transport management
  • The ability to make quick and effective decisions to drive through improvements.
  • A good level of IT literacy.
  • HR knowledge.

The Operations Manager Rota:

The usual working pattern for this role is 40 hours per week, on a rota, over a 5 from 7 shift pattern, shifts can include weekends and bank holidays on a rota.  Flexibility is a key requirement.
