We're recruiting for a new Planning & Inventory Manager for a large manufacturer in Banbury, with strong industry pedigree.
The Role
The Planning & Inventory Manager will be responsible for overall performance of the production and stock function.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Monthly Master Production Schedule, working closely with the Manufacturing Manager
- Daily & weekly production plans & schedules
- Reporting of overall function KPIs
- Ensure regular review of standards
- Manage and maintain capacity model
- Responsible for manufactured goods stock levels & off-site warehouse stock levels
- Continual review of processes, in order to minimise costs, while in turn maximise production
- Responsible for labour planning
- Work closely with commercial team on sales forecast analysis and any related queries
- Work with development function in order to organise production trials and introduction of new products
- Responsible for the organising of international outbound shipments
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a similar Production Planning / Inventory position from within the manufacturing industry
- Process improvement - the ability to continually develop new methods and systems
- Experience of materials requirement planning systems
- Highly analytical
- Clear communicator
- Calm and effective under pressure
- Deadline driven
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
