A leading production and distribution organisation based in West Yorkshire, who market and sell throughout UK to its network of distributors seek a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations; warehousing, material flow inventory and planning.
The Supply Chain Manager will report the senior management team and be hands-on, supporting an existing team. As the Supply Chain Manager you'll boast a proven management background and have experience with in food production.
You will lead the departments performance initiatives to manage the flow of materials into the facility, through the facility and outbound, in a way that maximises on-time delivery while minimising inventory and logistics cost.
Your key deliverables:
*Hold excellent communication skills, have customer service experience, and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, customers and other departments
*Previous experience in successfully deploying supply chain forecasting and planning strategies and driving efficiencies
*You will demonstrate strong ERP/MRP system skills
*You will use strong analytical problem-solving abilities are necessary to understand operational inefficiencies and separate/resolve legitimate supplier performance issues
Experience
*Relevant years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience
*Sound knowledge of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
*Full knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP/SAP)
*A proven supply chain professional leading production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, shipping/receiving
Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000
