Job Role: Bid Manager/Business Development Manager

Location: West Sussex (ability to work from home 2 days a week)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Gilbert Meher are delighted to be working very closely with one of the UK’s leading children’s charities who provide services across the country to vulnerable children, young people and their families. Being a national company, this charity have very ambitious growth plans for further development in the future.

This fantastic charity put children at the heart of their growth and they have assisted hundreds of children and young people secure a safe and successful future.

This thriving charity are now looking to appoint a Bid Manager/Business Development Manager to become a key member of the business development team and to lead and manage all aspects of the bid writing process, including the development and delivery of the bids.

This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most ambitious and rapidly expanding charities across the UK, which will provide multiple opportunities for career progression and development,

Key Requirements:

  • Lead and manage the whole bid writing process from beginning to end.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director of Business Development to identify and develop new services.
  • Lead on high priority tenders for both new and existing services/projects.
  • Manage tenders.
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have extensive experience leading and managing on bid writing processes from beginning to end.
  • Must have experience working within the third sector/children’s services or public sector.
  • Must have strong leadership skills.
  • Must be a strong communicator.
