Contracts Manager

A well-established, large Main Contractor based in London, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to work on exciting projects in and around Central London.

The Company

The Contracts Manager will join a company of 500 employees specialising in Logistics, Security and Scaffolding. The company have contributed to the successes of a number of high-profile projects including the Olympic Park and the Shard.

They pride themselves on high standards of service and provide a highly supportive environment for all of their employees.

The Role

The Contracts Manager will join a professional and successful team working on 6 - 7 sites in the Central London area, with duties to include:

  • Liaising with Contractors
  • Holding Design Team Meetings
  • Managing the progress of projects
  • Liaising with Site Managers about the progress of projects
  • Managing a team
  • Programming Planning
  • Progress reports
  • Design Coordination
  • Generic Contracts

The Person

The Contracts Manager will have experience as a Contracts Manager in the Construction industry. They will also have a positive working attitude. This may also suit someone with Site Management, Logistics Management or Construction Project Management experience.

The successful Contracts Manager will have:

  • A professional and positive approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Contracts Management experience

It is desirable if they have:

  • NVQ Level 6
  • SMSTS black card
