Transport Manager - Groupage

Experience in Groupage and an International CPC holder? This is a really exciting time to join a well backed and financed Transport Operator setting up a new UK operating centre.

With huge capital investment in a new Northamptonshire location, and additional investment in brand new DAF and Mercedes units and trailers this business is looking forward to a busy and prosperous future. You will be managing a busy transport operation and named on the O licence. You'll initially be setting up the operation and responsible for customising processes and getting everything in place for a successful and phased launch. Ongoing you'll be at the heart of the operation managing all aspects of a busy operating centre including driver management, compliance, fleet management, resource planning and managing operating costs. There is scope to make operational and commercial changes to the operation and you will be supported by an engaging and tactful Director.

Equally, we are looking for engaging Transport Managers. Ideally you'll have experience within Groupage operations or have had experience of continental transport. You'll be starting from scratch so any experience of start up's or transport transformation will be of great benefit. As the O licence holder an International CPC is essential but ultimately we want to hear from ambitious Transport Managers who relish a challenge and have a reputation for delivering success.

You'll be rewarded with a base salary in the region of £40,000 to £45,000 and an attractive benefits package. Personal and career growth will likely follow.
