An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Operations Manager based in Bath, to lead, motivate and manage a team of Client Support Administrators across 3 locations. The teams consist of varying abilities and expertise operating within the private client and corporate sector.

There is a competitive package on offer, with a basic salary of up to £50,000pa plus excellent benefits.

The role will include the following:

  • Report to the Head of Operations and will have direct line Management responsibilities for the Client Support Teams in the following locations Bath, Cardiff and Exeter
  • Manage day to day activities of all direct reports in order to maximise efficiency, ensuring effective distribution of workload and allocation of skills
  • Ensuring prioritisation of tasks to maximise resources and deliver exceptional client service support
  • Managing attendance, sickness and holiday to deliver required resources
  • Motivate, develop and consider ongoing training for each team member through undertaking regular 1:1’s and reviews, appraisals and frequent objective setting
  • Ensure proactive working partnerships are developed with Regional Paraplanning Managers, Senor Managers and Advisers to create a collaborative and focused environment
  • Communicate information on both a team and individual basis to ensure participation from all members of the client support team

What you will be required to have:

  • Similar experience gained within an IFA company managing a team of operational staff
  • Knowledge of financial planning products and administration within this sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to empower others
  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills with ability to pre-empt situations
  • Essential experience at managing a team and conducting 1:1 reviews and managing performance through proactive training and development
  • Positive and focused attitude with experience of embracing change to ensure delivery of customer service standards
  • Certificate in Financial Planning or Level 4 Diploma
