Supply Chain Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager, to join a small, but rapidly developing electrical engineering firm based here on our beautiful Isle of Wight.

With a global customer base to be proud of, the fluency of the supply chain process is vital to maintain brand reputation - they are looking for you to hold experience of both liaising and negotiating with suppliers, as well as being able to work seamlessly with all other company functions.

Our client is keen for you to be an integral part in the planned growth of their Operations function, ensuring that the correct and appropriate processes, technologies, tools and work-flow are implemented. A sound knowledge of all processes relating to the manufacturing and delivery of products will be key to you developing the supply chain process here.

• Planning and organisational skills
• Numerically competent
• Proficient with IT programs, particularly Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Work efficiently to tight deadlines
• Strong administrative skills

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• An industry recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. CIPS)
• A background and previous experience in Operations
• A Knowledge of current procurement policies and standards
