Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to join a fast growing business that are large in volume within the high-paced product sector? Do you have a passion to join an company that is looking to significantly expand in the next 12 months? If so this is the next exciting Warehouse Managers role you have been looking for!
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the warehouse which receives, holds, works and despatches the company's product lines. The business has seen a large amount of growth within the past 12 months and is now looking to expand significantly in the current year. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced warehouse manager that is able to run and grow the current and expanding, operation as the company continues to grow at speed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
" Create and Implement processes that will improve efficiency of the company's operation
" Provide clear and detailed communication with internal departments including sales and finance
" Maintain a clean, tidy and efficient warehouse operation
" Organising staff planning to ensure smooth goods in and out process, managing and planning the working week
" Observing & maintaining all Health & Safety standards in line with company policy
" Liaising with 3rd parties to arrange transport, shipping lines, customers
" Managing the day to day operation of the Warehouse area, including but not limited to shipping/receiving, order fulfilment and processing.
" lead a team of operatives.
" Managing and maintaining our Warehouse Management System and make sure it's updated at all times.
Key Skills:
" Forklift license is essential
" Knowledge of stock control
" Intermediate/advanced user of Excel
" Ability to question and improve existing processes
" Knowledge of lean management desirable
" Self-motivated
" Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
" Able to lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives
" Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
" Understands how to effectively work in a team and deliver key tasks
" Proactive and able to make decisions quickly with accuracy
" Minimum 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager
