Warehouse Manager

This growing distribution business is looking for a conscientious and ambitious Warehouse & Logistics Manager at their site which is near to both Leeds and Bradford. This is an exciting role and as Warehouse Manager, you will have responsibility for leading a growing team of 20 staff.

Previous experience in warehouse management is essential along with proficient IT skills which are required to interpret data and produce reports. As Warehouse Manager, your overall responsibility will be to ensure that efficiency improvements can be made to ensure that goods are delivered accurately and on time.

Details;

* Job: Warehouse Manager
* Hours: Full-time / Permanent (Monday to Friday - Day Shift)
* Location: Near to Batley and Cleckheaton, Bradford
* Salary: £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experience
* Bonuses available based on efficiency and accuracy results

Responsibilities to include;

* Manage the distribution activities for the business and report to the senior management team on performance.
* Manage performance and take effective action in the event of poor performance.
* Encourage staff to develop their knowledge and skills through effective performance management.
* Develop and grow a strong team which constantly over achieve.
* Review and analyse all systems and processes to ensure the highest efficiency is achieved and effect change when needed.

The successful candidate will be determined, self-motivated and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will also have the following;

* Experience in warehouse / supply chain management
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Highly developed people management skills
* Be able to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people
* Attention to detail and be able to work with accuracy
* Technical and IT skills to use databases and manage spreadsheets
* Have problem-solving skills and the ability to work strategically
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Be results oriented and commercially aware
