A leading retail FMCG business are recruiting a Supply Chain Business Analyst on a 12 month FTC. Applicants need experience within a supply chain function, strong MS Excel skills and ideally some ERP or systems expertise.

Working as part of a dynamic, and rapidly-growing supply chain function the Supply Chain Business Analyst will support the implementation of a new ERP system and be responsible for product, item master data. The Supply Chain Business Analyst will support planning and forecasting activities form inputting data onto the ERP system, through creation and release of purchase orders.

This position is initially available on a 12 month FTC, with a view to permanent employment.

Specific duties of the Supply Chain Business Analyst include:

  • Item master; support seasonal set up, co-ordinate and validate new stock items
  • Ensure reconciliation of item master information with regional offices
  • Ensure reconciliation of item master is aligned to legacy system and product lne plans
  • Serve as regional supply chain super user for the ERP system
  • Work closely with supply chain in the integration and consolidation of regional ordering
  • Create and release purchase orders

Supply Chain Business Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience working within supply chain, or an understanding of supply chain processes
  • Experience within a retail, or FMCG environment would be beneficial
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience using a JD Edwards or Oracle based ERP/planning system
  • Organised and motivated self-starter
