Contracts Manager - Fitout

Leading National Fitout Contractor requires contracts manager to join their business.

Our client are a fitout contractor specialist with a local office in Edinburgh but who deliver projects nationally. As their matures and grows they are seeking to appoint a new contracts manager to their business. Our client are well respected , have a sustainable and growing workload and can offer a long term career opportunity to fitout professionals based in the Central Belt.

Your new role

As a Contracts Manager for this company you will be focused on the successful planning , management and eventual delivery of complex Cat A and Cat B fitouts across the central belt of Scotland. Their project scope covers standard commercial fitout to hotels and hospitality projects and experience within these areas would be highly advantageous. You will be directly responsible for managing and motivating your team of experienced site managers to hit programme, achieve budget targets and ultimately deliver a product which ensures the client is satisfied with the result. Typical project values are from between 250K to £3million and you will be usually running more than one project at a time.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be from a joinery background and has extensive expertise within the fitout and refurbishment industry. You will have successfully delivered multiple fitout and refurbishment projects and you enjoy the stresses and pressures of working in this busy and high octane environment. Excellent communication skills are essential both written and verbal and you understand how to get the best out of your team onsite. Our client are very client focused and the ultimate aim is to ensure repeat business is generated so the successful candidates must be quality and programme focused.
