Where will I be working?

What will I be doing?

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the process of dispatch and packing of all of the companies goods from it's Milton Park office. This is not a warehouse based role, it is an office based role but will require manual handling and footfall around the building.

Role Responsibilities


Logistics Assistant:

  • Effectively manage goods in and dispatch
  • managing key accounts effectively
  • managing the paperwork for moving goods (dispatch)
  • ensuring H&S and other documents are all compliant
  • responsible for the timely movement of goods
  • liaising daily with Heads of dept. to ensure timely and effective dispatch of goods.
  • maintaining stocks as required
  • responsible for courier invoices under the necessary process

What skills, qualifications & experience will I need?

  • Ideally educated to at least GCSE standard
  • Well organised and conscientious with a friendly and polite manner.
  • Vital you have the ability to communicate effectively and work with people at all levels, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Packages.
  • Willing to go the extra mile.
  • Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated successful planning and organizational skills.
  • Logistics and/or goods dispatch experience ideal but not essential
  • Must have a great eye for detail and process driven

What else do I need to know?

This is a part-time permanent role, 20-25hrs per week ideally 10am-2pm But very flexible with Hours .
