Are you ready to join an exciting fast growing company serving the airline industry with aircraft spare parts around the globe in a new position as a Commercial Executive creating profitable deals selling and buying aircraft parts?

About the company

Established in 2000, we are a successful Queens Award winning UK-based company specialising in providing superior customer support, a comprehensive stockholding of the most demanded and hard to find parts, together with a responsive 24/7 AOG (Aircraft on Ground) service, and a focus on quality that permeates through every facet of the organisation. Our brand new state of the art eco-friendly HQ is based in Watford Business Park, WD18.

Who we are looking for:

A high-energy, pro-active and entrepreneurial professional with good people skills and the ability to multi-task who wants to buy and sell aviation parts to commercial airlines both in the UK and overseas.

The role demands a strong commercial focus and a desire to generate deals with good profit margin. You will build relationships with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and a high standard of quality.

What the role entails:

+ Quoting customers
+ Processing orders
+ Achieve and exceed your agreed sales target through various sales initiatives
+ Hold responsibility for the entire sales process from purchase through to closing the sale
+ Build and maintain a multi-year pipeline of robust and qualified opportunities
+ Respond to requests for quotations within the shortest reasonable time
+ Follow up allocated leads from marketing activities and new enquiries with potential customers
+ Deliver high quality customer service and performance
+ Negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers ensuring commerciality
+ Coordinate aircraft parts to support airline customers worldwide
+ Oversee the shipment of goods
+ Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and forwarders by providing support, information, and guidance
+ Recommend profit and service improvements
+ Implement the company’s sales strategy in partnership with the Commercial Manager
+ Complete documentation and update systems
+ Gather and analyse data on customer satisfaction with a view to developing this year on year
+ Develop and streamline processes and practices to maximise sales performance
+ Raise the profile of the business through active involvement in networking

About You:

+ Confident & commercially astute (able to create revenue through clients)
+ Entrepreneurial thinking (you may even have run your own business)
+ Loving it when a deal comes together
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritise
+ Excellent memory to handle multiple transactions and deals and remember aircraft spare parts numbers and descriptions
+ Sound judgement
+ Good written and verbal communication skills
+ Be able to think on your feet and resolve problems quickly
+ Computer literate
+ Experience working alone
+ Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
+ Trustworthy
+ Ability to work under pressure
+ Experience in the spares / parts sector (aviation, automotive, retail etc) would be advantageous
+ Aviation background a benefit, but not essential
