Agile Product Owner - Retail Logistics - Marlow
Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading Software House in the Marlow area to recruit an Agile Product Owner to join their software development team working on products for the retail logistics sector. Your role will be to create the software product roadmap ultimately defining the vision of the products they will build from a customer perspective, manage and prioritise the product backlog and working with the team to review and and ensure the vision is delivered for their large retail clients.
We are looking for somebody relatively senior who brings ideas on how retail logistics software systems should look and feel and the ability to make a difference to their product development process. You will sit with the SCRUM team to produce a vision of how the UI should look and how a user would interact with it, including user journeys. You will manage the product backlog and prioritise features including working with Developers for sprint planning. You will champion the product vision throughout the software development lifecycle and analyse the work in progress to ensure it meets with that vision and signing off deliverables throughout the process. You will write user-stories for all the technical components of the projects but are not expected to get involved in the underlying architectural decisions. You may sometimes interact with the end-customer but they have Project Managers who handle most of the client interaction so you will be primarily dealing with internal stakeholders.
To be considered you will be an experienced Agile Product Owner from the Retail Logistics sector and be comfortable sitting in an Scrum team working on the requirements for software products. You must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable playing a lead role with the SCRUM team and working with stakeholders at all levels of their business. Experience of JIRA would be useful.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus + benefits
