Our client a leading drinks brewery with a strong position in the UK are now looking to build on their success with an ambitious growth plan and begin to export internationally.

This is a new and exciting role to build the export operation from the ground up and make it your own. You will be responsible for driving scale with European based exporters, brand building with in-market ExPat distributors, building compelling brand focus to win in retail and identifying new opportunities for wider business

The role will require someone who is creative and tenacious who is always looking for new and exciting ways to develop the business. You will be organised and disciplined, ensuring that the company are pro-active in their approach, continuously reviewing activities and performance. Passion and knowledge of the company’s products is essential along with being able to understand market trends by utilising market data and/or in market visits. The ability to build strong customer relationships and to work cross functionally internally is also essential.

You will be responsible for all elements of account management which will include P&L Management, forecasting, promotional management, systems management, rigorous evaluation of all activity and investment and ensuring regulatory compliance in markets. You will build a strong contact strategy across existing accounts and develop a new business strategy to drive growth over the next three years.

  • Experience of working within the Exporting business (delivering outside of the EU)
  • Understanding of Incoterms, and have previous experience of Letters of Credit & Bills of Exchange
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, tariff codes, preference and origin
  • Knowledge and previous use of Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge and previous use of SAP is more than desirable
  • Self-motivated and can work under minimal supervision.
  • Proactive mindset, prepared to challenge the status quo, and can help present and articulate the needs for continuous improvement. to create competitive advantage
  • Thorough knowledge of export processes & shipping.
  • Be able to prioritise, and manage own workload.

Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience.
