Planner / Buyer - Lancaster area - Salary Dependant On Experience

Your new role

As the Planner / Buyer you will be responsible for managing all aspects of materials flow and to maintain control and accuracy over all goods, inventories, costs, planning, scheduling, to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. To include the negotiation of supplier pricing, quality and JIT deliveries. In parallel there is a requirement to interface with the R&D team to support NPI and appropriate pre-production manufacture.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an organised, committed and focused team player who has a demonstrable background in Purchasing, Planning and / or Production. At interview you will be able to showcase career examples of time management, problem solving skills, strong presentation skills, the ability to interact with suppliers & colleagues in a professional manner. Good excel skills alongside ERP / MRP systems experience is required
