Reed Procurement and Supply Chain is working with a forward thinking, global technical leader who R&D designs, manufactures and distributes high technology products for the fuelling industry
Together we are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager whose responsibilities will include:
All aspects of the purchasing operations, including procurement of in house product designed goods from global suppliers, inventory level management, continuously reviewing purchasing strategies to improve delivery performance whilst managing cost efficiencies, achieving the best value, quality and availability on all purchased products.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven experienced and highly motivated Purchasing Manager to join our procurement team.This job involves working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment and requires a person who is a skilled self-starter, has an extensive background working in similar roles within an engineering/ manufacturing product related industry.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience include:
Qualified to a minimum of CIPS Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply
Extensive experience at a senior procurement position within an engineering manufacturing environment, experience of plastic injection moulding & extrusion process would be an advantage.
Proven expert with international supplier negotiation skills.
Has strong communication and interaction skills at all levels, excellent written and spoken English, Italian or German as a second language would be an advantage.
Extensive experience of using ERP computer systems
