As a result of our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a:

Bid Manager

  • Base: Leeds, West Yorkshire LS10 2LF
  • Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 + benefits

Reporting to the Head of Bid Management, as a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for the production of tender and proposal documentation, ensuring all submissions are completed to the same high level of consistency and within allocated timeframes. Working closely with the wider business, your day to day role will involve:

  • Completion of Selection Questionnaires and creation of content for Tenders and Proposals, ensuring we deliver a consistent message and deliver bid winning solutions

  • Developing a detailed knowledge of each group business and monitoring portal activity in order that tenders and proposals are submitted in a timely fashion

  • Assisting in preparation of regular reports detailing the status of ongoing bid and tenders

Ideally, we’re looking for an experienced Bid Writer/Manager, used to working in a fast-paced environment and with a relevant background in a similar industry, who can demonstrate:

  • Proven expertise in responding to selection questionnaires and locating tenders from web-based sources, printed publications and other potential avenues

  • Excellent attention to detail and first-rate organisation skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise a busy/changing workload in a fast-paced, target driven setting

  • The confidence to work as both part of a team and independently, undertaking specific research projects as and when required

  • The ability to work with/manipulate figures and a good degree of IT/PC literacy, especially in relation to MS Office applications

  • First class communication skills and the ability to maintain high levels of professionalism, whilst building strong client relationships
