Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of glass and glazing systems in three business areas: Architectural, Automotive and Technical Glass.

A temporary vacancy (12 month FTC) has arisen within the Automotive Aftermarket business for a Supply Chain Master Data Analyst. The position will report to the European Forecasting Manager and is based at the Redditch distribution centre.

Assisting in the development and implementation of standardised (European Supply Chain) processes, and creating or improving existing SOP’s where appropriate, you will initialise the planning data for new materials as well as updating the required master data for new or changed product routings or prices and must support the optimisation of product routings by applying weekly updates to the SAP planning and replenishment data.

Calculating and applying updates to both inbound and outbound transfer prices, throughout the European aftermarket network, you must generate audit reports to ensure the base planning data remains accurate and in line with required standards and compile supporting data and documentation for the European Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

One of the main challenges within the role is to work to continuously improve the quality of planning data, which is fundamental to ensure excellent stock availability and therefore customer service.

Candidates must be experts in the use of all Microsoft Office suite applications; particularly Excel and ideally Access and have excellent knowledge of SAP, especially MRP and purchasing modules. Highly data rational and with excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, you should be flexible and adaptable and be prepared to adjust plans depending on urgency of tasks.

As the role entails regular contact and interface within the Group, applicants should possess excellent interpersonal skills. Previous experience in either a Logistics or Planning role would also be desirable.
