The Company
We are partnering exclusively with an awarding winning premium consumer client that has achieved phenomenal growth.
The Role & Criteria
Due to the large growth they are looking for a logistics specialist to lead, manage and co-ordinate logistics, warehousing and transportation activities. The aim of this role is to have a proactive approach to working with strategic third-party partners, drive continuous improvement, managing productivity and performance. This is a newly created role and reports directly into the Supply Chain Director.
- Relevant in-depth knowledge of logistics with a broad overview of supply chain management ideally from an FMCG environment.
- Prior experience in logistics with third-party providers
- Responsible for planning, co-ordinating and managing transportation of finished goods
- Take full accountability for production planning sites across Europe ensuring all materials and production on time in full.
- Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills to monitor performance and plan improvements
- Ability to build strong relationships, getting things done and resolving issues across the business
- Proactive and driven attitude with a natural aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to think logically under pressure
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large amounts of data
