New Supply Chain Manager opportunity with a public services business in the Bath area.
Your new company
Hays Supply Chain & Logistics are pleased to be assisting a public services business in the Bath area for the recruitment of a Supply Chain Manager. This company offers a great working environment and a competitive package.
Your new role
You will manage the material control and warehouse team with the goal of driving efficient forecasting and accurate inventory management. You will lead implementation of a new inventory control system and liaise with key departments to implement new SOP's. You will have the ability to transform existing processes and report directly to the Head of Procurement. You will deliver exceptional and efficient supply chain management to meet the business needs by identifying key supply chain priorities. You will manage a team of 3 direct reports and indirectly be responsible for over 15 staff.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a motivated and committed individual with extensive experience working in a supply chain planning and inventory control focused role. You will understand the planning cycles and business trends to optimise purchasing decisions which will allow you to achieve inventory and availability targets whilst minimising excess stock. You will have proven success in supply chain efficiency's and great stock control experience.
What you'll get in return
This role is being offered on a permanent basis with a competitive salary of £37,000 - £44,000 DOE with a competitive benefits package.
