Supply Chain Assistant

We have an exclusive opportunity to join a leading retail wholesale business who are very successful and are growing rapidly.

The role will be working with a Supply Chain Analyst to help manage the purchase and monitor stock levels from a global supply base.

The role:

  • Helping to manage the in-house systems to raise orders, making sure they are placed with suppliers in a timely manner
  • Working with MS Excel to calculate recommended orders
  • Managing stock availability
  • Manage and maintain spreadsheets to support the business needs
  • Produce accurate weekly availability and shipping reports
  • Helping to produce presentations for the sales teams and senior management
  • Support the admin for import and freight forwarding
  • Building good business relationships with key suppliers and company contacts
  • Use your commercial awareness to develop the service provided

Skills & Experience:

  • Good experience of working with MS Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience within Supply Chain and retail distribution would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Numerate and a good head for figures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
