Contracts Manager, Commercial Fit-out
Burton on Trent
Basic circa £33,000 to £40,000, negotiable depending upon experience, plus bonus and expenses
Our client specialises in interior office design and project management services, creating quality working environments which are unique and functional. They offer the full service of design, plan, fit-out and project management, creating stylish office environments which work from every aspect. Their offerings cover all fit-out / refurbishment including lighting, ceilings, flooring, partitioning, electrics, air conditioning and furniture manufacture, supply and installation.
As part of a planned expansion, our client is seeking to recruit an additional Contracts Manager who will assist with office fit-out projects throughout the East and West Midlands and further afield within the UK as required for National clients.
The role:
- Managing an average of 4 to 6 projects at any one time
- Taking financial and overall responsibility for the budget of each project
- Liaise closely with sales, purchasing, site managers and customers to ensure all runs smoothly, dealing with variables as they arise
- Take management and control of health and safety, access, stock and labour arrivals, in conjunction with customer requirements
- Take all projects from sign off to delivery and completion, visiting all sites as required
Suitable applicants:
- Have experience of working within the office / commercial fit-out
- Have good experience of delivering projects to time, quality and budget
- Be happy managing multiple projects at any one time
- Ideally CDM trained as dealing with construction / building design and management
- Be happy covering the UK, working from the office based near Loughborough
- Be happy working with internal teams and customers alike to deliver solutions
- Be happy managing multiple teams, taking regular feedback and site managers, design teams and purchasing teams
