Purchasing Administrator

Watford, Hertfordshire

£15,000 + Pension

A very established local organisation are currently seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Administrator to join their busy Purchasing Department, excellent prospects are available for the right person.

Some of your duties will include:

- Supporting the Purchasing Manager with day to day management of the purchasing function

- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring there is an adequate stock available to meet customer demands

- Raising purchase order documentation, placing orders with suppliers and negotiating costs

- Maintaining an accurate record of purchases, price changes and supplier lead time on computer system

- Monitoring sales levels, identifying sales trends and producing forecasts for future stock requirements

- Liaising with suppliers to schedule deliveries to Warehouse and co-ordinating the return of unsatisfactory stock
